Our Charity Work
The Oxford Russian Club holds the belief that it is our duty to offer help to those less privileged back
in Russia. In this spirit, our organisation is constitutionally bound to host a series of charity events every year.
Every year the Russian Club hosts a caviar and champagne reception on the birthday of Nicholas II, all proceedings from which go to St Gregory's Foundation. St Gregory's Foundation is a charity of our association's royal patron - HRH Prince Michael of Kent - that aims at offering help to vulnerable children as well as families in need within the Russian Federation or the Republic of Georgia. Our second charitable event is a Kupala Party at the end of every Trinity, all proceedings from which go to the Russian LGBT Network that offers much needed help and support to LGBT individuals in every corner of the Russian Federation. Finally, every year the Russian Club hosts its Presidents' Cocktail Reception, an event with an open donation
box for the Naked Heart Foundation, a charity of Natalia Vodianova, that aims at creating an inclusive society for people with disabilities or special needs, and making sure that every child who lives with a family does not end up in an orphanage or children's home because of a disability.
